Product Availability and PricesOccasionally, product descriptions and prices may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system or typographical errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, we reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur. We will not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices or product descriptions. If there exists and error in a product's listed price or description in your order, we will either contact you for instructions before shipping the product or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. If the order has been shipped, you agree to either return the product or pay the difference between the actual and charged prices. Although we make the best effort to announce our price changes, we still reserve the right to change prices without notice. Sales, Discounts and Price ReductionsMileStone Gems always offers the best value by offering high quality products at fair prices. We do not negotiate prices on our listed products and all our prices are final. The timeframe and prices for sale-items, discount promotion and price reductions are determined by our sole discretion. Order and Shipment PoliciesThese policies apply to website orders to be shipped to United States (and it's territories, APO/FPO) and Canadian addresses. Currently we do not sell or ship to other international locations. We will ship orders under $6,000 to APO and FPO addresses via USPS priority mail. Arrival times to these addresses may vary greatly. Payment Methods: Currently, we accept these payment methods: Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card); PayPal (account, credit card, check payment); standard check payment (once funds from the check clears we will begin order process); money-order. Order Processing: Generally, your order will leave our facility within 2-3 business days of receiving the order. This timeframe ensures that your order is properly and accurately processed, and your item meets our quality assurance standards. Shipment: For standard shipments, we rely on USPS Priority Mail. Priority shipping normally takes 2-3 business days to arrive at the destination from our facility. For expedited shipping ("next day" or "overnight"), we rely on UPS Next Day Air. All orders valued at $1,000 and above require a signature for delivery regardless of any signature waivers you may have with the shipping carrier. Shipping Insurance: All orders are fully insured by MileStone Gems on the value of the product(s) ordered. Alternate Shipping Address: If you prefer, we can ship your order to an address other than your billing address. As a security precaution, we require that your alternate shipping address be on file with your credit card company. If it is not on file with your credit card company, we will contact you to confirm this alternate shipping address. This step helps protect you from fraudulent charges to your credit card. Saturday Delivery: The USPS allows for Saturday delivery. However, if you have chosen to use UPS as the shipping carrier and would like Saturday delivery, please contact us to make arrangements: cservice@milestonegems.com or 800-630-5153 Sales Tax: Currently, sales tax is collected on orders shipped inside the state of New Jersey. Returns and Product Guarantee: MileStone Gems offers a solid 30-Day Guarantee and Return policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return any item in its original condition within 30 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange. Diamond Certificates and AppraisalsAll engagement ring quality diamonds will be shipped with the accompanying diamond grading report (also known as a diamond certificate). These grading reports are detailed documents created by diamond grading experts from respected gemology laboratories, thus making these reports are expensive to replace. Additionally, all engagement ring quality diamonds and all diamond and gemstone jewelry valued at $1,000 and above will be shipped with an accompanying appraisal. Like the grading report, these appraisals are created by highly skilled professionals and are expensive to replace. If you do not include both the diamond grading report and appraisal with your return, you will be charged a replacement fee. Resizing may take up to 14 business days. For instructions on how to get your ring reside please see the guidelines in our return policy Comparison PurchasingMileStone Gems does not allow comparison purchasing (the act of buying several items with the intent of keeping the one you like best and returning the rest). This causes undue restocking and inventory overhead and can be very costly and eventually force MileStone Gems to increase our retail prices. Diamond engagement ring purchases include a free complimentary diamond appraisal in addition to the free complimentary logo gift box. If you are returning an engagement ring, you must also include the appraisal with the return, otherwise risk being charge a replacement fee. For more info go to our return policy Accuracy of Information Found on Our WebsiteMileStone Gems makes every attempt to ensure that our product lists are as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, color and size may vary slightly. In compliance with industry standards and FTC regulations, MileStone Gems must state that carat total weight in all purchases may vary 0.05 carats from stated weight. On the MileStone Gems website, the dimensions of our products are based on the information received from our suppliers and manufacturers. For any convex or rounded jewelry item, the width and length stated in the product description is taken by the manufacturer, prior to the rounding of the metal in the manufacturing process, which may lead to a discrepancy in any measurements taken after this process. For each item containing multiple diamonds, the listed grades of quality and measurement for color, clarity, and carat weight are presented as an average. These averages are calculated by adding all grades or measurements of the particular item and determining the closest mean. Conflict Diamond PolicyMileStone Gems only purchases diamonds through the most respected suppliers who, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process, an international system that monitors the trade of diamonds to ensure they are from sources free of conflict. Legal Statements and Applicable LawsUnder no circumstances shall MileStone Gems be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict product liability or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. These Terms and Conditions and your use of this site will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within the State of New Jersey, without resort to its conflict of law provisions.
